Paxton’s next haunt: a creepy hotel

The Last House on the Left star Sara Paxton has signed up for another fright-filled work assignment.

The actress will headline The Innkeepers, the latest creepfest from The House of the Devil writer-director Ti West. Dark Sky Films is producing the project.

Pat Healy, Kelly McGillis and George Riddle have also joined the cast of the ghost story.

Paxton and Healy play the last two clerks in a hundred-year-old haunted hotel. During its last days before closing, a few strange guests arrive. The shoot is taking place at the Yankee Pedlar Inn in Connecticut, a hotel long suspected of being haunted.

Paxton’s big-screen credits include roles in Superhero Movie, Sydney White and Aquamarine.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Sara Paxton will star in the new film, The Innkeepers.

Paxton, who stared in Last House on the Left will headline this new horror flick, directed and written by Ti West. West previously did the terrifying The House of the Devil. Paxton will team up with co-star Pat Healy as clerks in a two hundred-year old hotel that is closing down. The hotel is occupied by some very strange guests. The film is being shot in a New England hotel that is suspected of being really haunted. Other stars in The Innkeepers, include Kelly McGillis and George Riddle.

By starring in The Innkeepers, Sara Paxton is continuing her work in scary movies.

Sara Paxton makes a funny face towards the paparazzi as she arrives at Anastacia Hair Salon in Beverly Hills on Thursday afternoon (January 7).
The 21-year-old former TBL beauty spiced up her shorter locks. Sara chopped off her hair after hearing about her series’ cancellation late last year.
Sara recently commented about the possibility of TBL being resurrected either online or on screen. She shared, “After it was cancelled, a lot of fans were reaching out on Facebook and Twitter and asking where they could see the rest of the episodes. Now that it lives on the Internet, who knows what it will turn into. I don’t know what to expect out of it.”

Corbin Bleu, Ashley Madekwe and Sara Paxton might just be jumping for joy at this news — TBL: The Beautiful Life is coming back to life on YouTube!
Series creator and executive producer Ashton Kutcher shared, “What we feel like we’re doing is creating, in some ways, an industry first. A show that couldn’t find its legs on television, we believe can find its legs on the Web. I would bargain that people will be willing to sit a lot longer if the picture looks a lot better.”
The first three episodes will play at YouTube starting TODAY. Another two unaired episodes will premiere Monday, December 21. All five of the roughly 40-minute episodes will be shown without commercials, thanks to a sponsorship deal with electronics company Hewlett-Packard.
TBL: The Beautiful Life, also starring Mischa Barton, Nico Tortorella and Ben Hollingsworth, was cancelled while the cast were filming the seventh episode in NYC this past September.

Canceled The CW Series “The Beautiful Life” To Broadcast Unaired Episodes

Canceled TV series “The Beautiful Life” is set to get a second chance next summer when The CW broadcasts its unaired episodes. The brief chance at a second airing might change to a more permanent state, according to the show.
The show’s Facebook account reads: “We have somewhat good news. The CW will plan 2 air the remaining episodes of The Beautiful Life: TBL in America’s Summer Period.”
“The bad news is there is still no plans of renewing The Beautiful Life. But that might change during the Months, or this year. ”
“The Beautiful Life,” exec produced by Ashton Kutcher, followed the lives of male and female models sharing a New York City residence. It premiered in September, but was canceled after two episodes due to low ratings.
It starred Mischa Barton, Corbin Bleu, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Nico Tortorella, Ashley Madekwe, Sara Paxton, and real life supermodel Elle Macpherson.
